Hello

Sorry if this forum isn't really for this.

I work for a small company that makes IR temperature sensors. Currently we are using Macola 7.5102C. We are looking for an ON-SITE consultant person to provide some recommendation and fix a few problems.

If you are in the Boston area and interested, drop me a line.

Brian,

Exact is in the Boston area. What is wrong with them? Also, why are you on a 4 year old version of the software?

7.6.102C is from 1999 or 2000 so there have been quite a few changes since then. As much as someone can make recommendations on your processess, it's also possible that some or most of the fixes will require you to upgrade Macola to the current version.

Starting with 7.6.100A, you can't install the Macola client on a Windows95 computer. Macola also doesn't support WindowsNT 4.0 either. Or Windows98 without Second Edition for that fact, though it won't prevent you from installing it.

In reality, you should be running Windows2000 or WindowsXP Pro for your clients.

I'm only pointing out that the further behind in versions you get, the more you need to review to upgrade without alot of problems.

Don is correct in pointing out that Exact has an office in the Boston area and would help out with recommendations even if you chose not to upgrade.
