Hi,
I need the Cook Book to install the CallPilot 202i.

My Steps are not working:

- Copy the CD on an USB Sticke with the Ghost Image
- Change the boot service
- Boot from USB Stick
- Install the Ghost Image
- re-Change the boot service
- Start the Server. Login is working with defaut Password.

Now, I have problem with the correct PEP, SU and SEC-Peps.

I want to install:
SU: PEP: CP50041SU11S
PEP: CP500S11G05C
PEP: CP500S11G06S
PEP: CP500S11G13S
PEP: CPSECPEP017S
PEP: CPSECPEPSP2S_V02

I need the correct installation order.
I try:
First TRY:
1. CPSECPEP017S (176 Hotfixes are installed)
2. CPSECPEPSP2S_v02 (MSI Precheck failed) and then the SecPEP.log shows: MSI PEP installation start line

1-12-2021 | 08:40:32 | I | CPDSKPEP001S | MSI PreCheck started.
1-12-2021 | 08:40:32 | E | CPDSKPEP001S | Cannot find W2K3SP1_KEY SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Updates\Windows Server 2003\SP1\KB889101
1-12-2021 | 08:40:32 | E | CPDSKPEP001S | MSI Precheck failed.

Second TRY :
1. CPDSKPEP001S (CPSECPEPSP2S requires PEP CPDSKPEP001S to be installed first as a prerequisite if your platform is 201i, 703t or 1002rp and CallPilot release is 3.0 or 4.0.) Installed Hotfixes
2. CPSECPEPSP2S_v02 Showes: Can´t open the INSTALLER

Can you help me?

CPSECPEPSP2S_V02
reboot
CPSECPEP017S
reboot
CP50041SU11S say no to restart and then CP500S11G05C
reboot
CP500S11G06S
CP500S11G13S
reboot

Hi Bignose21

if I start the CPSECPEPSP2S at first, then I found the ERROR: MSI PRECHECK FAILED

I found at the readme:

CPSECPEPSP2S requires PEP CPDSKPEP001S to be installed first as a prerequisite if your platform is 201i, 703t or 1002rp and CallPilot release is 3.0 or 4.0.

Wouldn't I have to start with CPDSKPEP001S?

what Callpilot Image did you install? As that does not match your server type or release.

thats a picture of the applications CD you need the image dvd (windows 2003 and Callpilot application in a Ghost image), it has a file "DVD 202i label.txt" in the route that has something like the below in it:

CallPilot 5.0 202i DVD Image

Version: 05.00.41.20
Revision: October 09,2008

Other thing at end of the image install check in case it already has SP2 on it as it released at the end of 2005 so was probably worked into the 202i image.

Hi bignose21,

the PIC showes the Application CD, but the download link is the windows 2003 and Callpilot application in a Ghost image.
At the Windows Start, I found the the information Win2002 SP2. Are all Sec patches included there?
I thought there would be still special patch to take.

BIG THANKS for Help bignose21

A lot of those PEP's are dependent on SP2 to be installed first. After that reboot. Then install the latest SP and Manager then reboot. Then install the sec pep and reboot. Then finally do all the other patches and reboot after those.

As it is already SP2 you would start with security patch to install all the Hotfixes then crack on with the applications so for the patches you want to do

CPSECPEP017S
reboot
CP50041SU11S say no to restart and then CP500S11G05C
reboot
CP500S11G06S
CP500S11G13S
reboot

Or look for the latest on ESPL
