I don't know if this is the best place to post this question or not, if not let me know where it belongs.

I am working on a site that allows for reservations/bookings, and have been assigned the task of finding a good looking calendar to convey currently booked dates. We will eventually expand its interactivity, but for now just need to display a month at a time with dates taken autofilled from a database.

This does not have to be free. It has to look amazing, that is the number one priority here.

I have been looking at calendar after calendar, and while I've found a couple that look ok, I'm having issues finding the perfect fit. Any suggestions would be most welcome. I am assuming that a javascript/html/css solution would work best, and we are already using jQuery, but right now is the best time to consider any other (better) alternatives if we're going to. I looked at a couple flash calendars, but was very unimpressed with them.

How about the one in Office Outlook or Windows Live Mail (on Vista or W7). It is not autofilled but if you look in Outlook in 5 day mode, it gives you days, times and events which you can colour code.

Good looking is purely subjective but if the person also uses outlook, then they will be totally familiar with the look and feel. Livemail is better on the recurring tasks. Not as flexible but not as messy.
