Need basic programming guide for EDI

Hi,
I'm working in EDI since last 1 year but really don't know very much about programming or system level architecture. Like I know about ISA, GS, ST, Segment, element, terminator, extended mapping, user exits. But know very less about constants, accumulator etc. I just want to learn it overall.

Please suggest me some free books/ tutorials.
