Need basic help on Visio - drawing lines and default colors, line width, etc..

What is the easiest way to draw arrows between boxes in Visio 2003

I know a dumb question but need some help. I looked at tutorials. I want to be able to pick the style of arrow (size, width, color, which arrow on which sides-or both), and then click on tool to draw arrow.

*******Also is there a way to set default colors and widths for all arrows or do I have to set up a blank Visio template to start from?

Thanks for some quick and dirty instructions.

*******Also if you have any sample VSD diagrams, would love to have them as examples.

Set the arrow style, thickness and colour from the Format toolbar. Go to View menu|toolbars and make sure that Format is checked
