I have a report that has two pieces of information: Permits and Meters.
You can have multiple meters to one permit.
Designing the layout for the report I have.

Page Header: All the fields for the permit
Detail: Meter info fields.

Originally I had the layout as:
FieldLabel: Fieldname fieldlabel: fieldname ....
FieldLabel: Fieldname fieldlabel: fieldname ....

Since there could be mutiple meters, this layout was kinda of clunky.

so I switched it to

MeterID Header (group): FieldLabel fieldlabel field label .......
Detail: fieldname fieldname fieldname .....

This way is easier to read but I don't have enough room to put all the fields in one line even using landscape. I need to stick to letter size paper.

Is the a way to have another group header for the remaining meter information and keep the correct meter info together?

I think you would need to remove the Meter information from the main report and create two subreports, each with its own set of fields. Use a group or report header in the subreports to place your column labels. Then add these two subreports into the detail section of the main report. Set the Link Master/Child properties and you should be good.
