Need an Analog line to ring to 3 different lines at once!!! 2

Hi!!

I need some assistance on figuring something out. I have a site that is gonna have an analog line installed into the vestibule of their entrance. Getting rid of the front desk secretaries and they will install that analog line and will want that phone to ring automatically to 3(possibly 4) other lines in that establishment. I want to make sure that those phones the the ring down line(in the vestibule) will not affect the ability for them to receive voicemails normally.

I'm not exactly sure how to go about this and would really appreciate and welcome any friendly advice on how to correctly get this done.

Do you have a spare key on the phones that this analog will ring down to? If so then I would use an MCR key on those phones and that would be your extension to tell the analog to HOT D to.

The only other way I know is via the FTR_DATA in LD 21 and look for the PCA feature. You will need to have licences in order to use it. Check against SLT in LD 22.

Well I tried to use the MCR key and got a SCH0369. I don't understand the difference when I could have just used SCR on the key instead. I tested it using the SCR and it worked fine. Why wouldn't the MCR work??

The same DN cant be an SCR and MCR, it's one or the other. That is probably your error message.

MARP the a new, unique MCR (or probably SCR, since you'll only have one phone calling it) for the door phone to call on a Data TN, with CLS HTD FND; it will never disable and will never go to VM as long as the MARP stays on that phone and will ring 'til the cows come home. It's an ol' GHTROUT trick I use a lot! (Thanks, Gene!)
