need alternatives please. I have a modem with the following numbers: WS5614PM3A model and the number on the chip (white sticker) is 070S1T22100992. I downloaded hcfrock.exe from driverguide.com and loaded the driver which I thought was the correct one for this modem but it doesn't seem to work. When looking at dianostics on under hardware there was another number PCI/CPQB114 - is this number something that is being picked up from the installation of hcfrock or is it actually the model number that I should be looking for? I had trouble loading a driver for this modem before and a friend straightened it out. Unfortunately he is not around anymore.

When I put this modem marked WS5614PM3 in a machine running XP Pro, it tell me it is a Compaq data fax modem and works. I tried the drivers from Compaq with no suggest. I just ordered a new modem but if someone can direct me to the correct driver, I would appreciate it.
