Hi to everyone.
I need your help, if it´s possible of course.
The last week my brother ask me for a favor to cover the IT guy in his work place I say yes (just for 3 weeks), but once installed my brother ask me about some migration/upgrade or any solution to a very old Sybase Sql server.
All work depends of this server but it is stored in a very old computer and all in this place are afraid of a potential failure of this machine.
The bad news are
1.- No one knows how it works
2.- Where the tables are located
3.- No one knows the version of this program
I need some light about how can I find at least the installed version, where can I find this info?, any documentation?
I go to trying to figure how, but it was unsuccessful.
I just need some documentation, manuals or anything to help my brother in this situation.
I know this is a really weird request but I really want to help here. I have some MS Access knowledge but this is totally new for me.
Any help/answer will be really appreciated.
Many thanks in advance.
Best regards.
