We have been given the green light to start producing web reports. We have Visual Studio 2003 and Crystal Reports 8.0. These reports will be running off a SQL server. The reports will be used for in house intranet as well as limited internet. My questions are:

* Does anyone know of a good learning tool for someone with little ASP experience that would benefit me most with creating reports for ASP?

* Will I have to rewrite the reports from scratch or can they be easily converted?

* Would upgraging to Crystal 8.5 or 9.0 be a huge benefit?

For web reports, using Crystal Enterprise might be optimal, though it's expen$ive.

WEB reports isn't very descriptive anyway as there are many ways to do it using Crystal, inclusive of just exporting and linking to a file (which can prove to be very fast).

Here are the ASP example files:

And CR 9 has RAS, which you might prefer, but it's really dependent upon what your intend to do, which should be driven by requirements. None of which are spelled out here.
