A co-worker is trying to work with a file from a vendor application.
The file is in excel format, but it contains some 500 columns and contains about 200 rows. What is the best way to bring this monstrosity into Access 2007?
Isn't there a limit on the number of columns or fields in a table. Thanks

The limit is 255, so you would not be able to or want to bring it in that way. Also it is unlikely that this data is in any way normal and therefore not much use within a database. You can use excel pivot table capabilities to normalize it. There are lots of examples on the web
