I understand the Cisco security tract is fairly new but one does not have to take the INCD 1 and 2 before the Cisco security do they?
Ive been looking on Cisco's site for a place to show the list of progression for the different tracts, i definitely want to go security, I am already proficient in this field, I have many security based as well as Microsoft Certs, not from brain dumps either.

So I didnt know if the CCNA security test assumed you already had the ICND knowledge?
So could someone please take 5 mins of their time and help me out,

brianinms is correct, you must possess a valid CCNA before you can sign up for the exam. That means you must have passed it within the last three years, but it doesn't matter if you took the two exams or the composite exam.

It's true, but I suspect Cisco will change it soon. Notice that the new CCNA-SPO track does not require a "regular" CCNA. I think when the CCNAS, CCNAV and CCNAW certs come up for a curriculum change, Cisco may reorganize them and lift that requirement.
