I am not sure what you call this, but I will try to describe it and hopefully someone out there will know where to find one.

I need a small plug in device that fits into a KRON (BIX) CRON??? block and gives me 2 metal leads which I can then connect a test set or meter to.

I have seen them. They are sort of shaped like a Y where the bottom of the Y plugs into the space in the middle of each pair on the block and the 2 Y tips end in a small stud.

Anyone know what I am talking about here and where I might fine one?

Thanks,
Harold

There are Krone blocks and also BIX (nordx) blocks, which do you need this for?

Jeff,

How can I tell which is which?

Krone block holds 25 phone lines (25 pairs), BIX (nordx) block holds 10.

Its a Krone. Its about the same size as a 66 block but requires a different punch tool which I do have. Its the pair test tool I am looking for.

Thanks for your help on this.

Harold

Krone. Very high quality terminations. Those tools are available from Anixter. The rep I work with is Bo. His number is (504) 465-5922.

(The common pronunciation is with a long o and silent e. I have also heard it is a long o with the e as a short a, like Porshe is actually Porsha, Krone could be Krona)

Skip555,

U nailed it!

That is EXACTLY what I was looking for.

Big Thanks,
Harold
