Avaya techs (and others I am sure) use these modular cables to install partner systems. They are 2pair modular at both ends and the tech cuts them in half and punches down one end to the station and the modular end into the system port. Anyone know the manufacturer of those cables?? Website?? I need to purchase several hundred for current and future installs and I have gone brain dead and can not find them.

Thanks in Advance
Jim

Hi Jim,
I make them as I need them. Each is harnessed for the card to prevent "operators" from playing. I use BIX in Canada and it makes for a very reliable and secure installation. Looks great too.
The R7 uP uses RJ-45's. Pain in the butt. RJ-11's are too tight I find. We purchase two pair CAT-3 for this. We use 4 pair CAT-3 for the Magix operator position ports (1,5,..)

Go to Graybar and ask for 4 connector "cutcords". If that doesn't work post again and I look for a part number. They come in boxes of 125.

Thanks both of ya, I have made cords in the past, just thought it would be easier to buy them, and the word my brain would not come to my mind was "cutcords", 17 years of using those darn things and 3 months after being forced out I forgot

Thanks TouchToneTommy, you wouldn't happen to be in SoCal??

Just FYI, graybar can special order these now, IPWC02P24J10DE but it wil cost extra, Anixter has some in stock, various langths, catalog number 889231 (10ft), 889501 (14ft) or 889232 (25ft) and they are less then $3.00 USD per

Thanks to All who helped out locating these items

I get them from - they have an online catalog but if you just call and descrtibe what your looking for the people on the phone are knowledgable and will get you the right ones.

I will contact them UpstatePaul, since the place I work does not do anything without PO's I would have to set something up with them, if they work with PO's

I went to sandmans site and I couldnt find them . I knew he had them in the past I was thinking he just disontued them .

I'll ask next time I call

thanks for posting that

I would imagine he would work a deal with you for the quanitys you mentioned earlier

Sandmans work well they have the pull string in them for easy terminations - I don't thing graybars do - and he usually cuts a deal for quantity or sends a coupon for next order
