Need a resource to input a zip code and get miles to a point! Suggest?

I need to find an existing service that offers the ability to input a zip code and have it report the number of miles from that zip code to a fixed address point?

If that is not possible I need to come up with a satisfactory alternative solution. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

If there were such a program, the result wouldn't be accurate (with error % decreasing the further away the fixed point is).

Since a Zip Code applies to an area, not a point, and may span quite a few square miles, a program that performed such calculations would be forced to use the "center" of the Zip Code area. Robert Bradley

You can write a perl script and run it in the cgi-bin to bounce off such sites as mapquest or yahoo maps. I have seen it done but have not done it myself or I would offer the script.
