i have developped a databse application using delphi 5
prof and interbase 6.5 .
the interbase 6.5 server is installed on windows NT server
and all our pc's have interbase client installed on it
and acopy of the application.
the problem is that sometimes when the user try to connect
to the databse via the application
the following message is displayed:
Unable to compleete network request to host 'server name'
error :writing to the connection
and this sometimes displayed after the user connected
and doing some work using the application.
when i look to the network connection i view the server
and i can access to all shared files on it including the database itself.
i don't know wather the problem is comming from the network
or the application or the server .
plz don't hesitate to help me.
