Hope I'm not posting in the wrong area, I'm just confused by the choices of phones avalible for a merlin system. I need some advice on what kind of cordless phone's are compatable with a merlin system. I am trying to purchase 1 cordless phone for a company I work for, and I am finding phones like the Merlin 905 and Transtalk. What other phones will work with that system? Can I buy a normal analog phone and hook it up? It will need to be compatable for 3 lines. Any help would be appreciated.

Need a cordless for Merlin 820D

On a merlin 820D, the Transtalk will work, however, you cannot plug a regular cordless into the comtrol unit. The 905 cordless will work as well. I personally like the transtalk, however there are a few people on here who have had tons of problems. I would like to see what kind or problems those are. Because for what Avaya charges for the transtalk, it shoule be problem free.
