if my NEDC/FEDC on a rout are both set to ETH that means what exactly? how does the call disconnect? if either the near end OR the far end hangs up the call is disco'd?
If the NEDC/FEDC are both set to ORG does that mean ONLY the originator of the call(whether it's the near end or the far end) can disco the call? I have a forty hour phone call on my CDR and want to know if one and/or both parties not properly disco'ing could've caused this. thank you very much.

I normally see this set at ETH ETH. So ether end can disconnect the call. I figure if either side gives disconnect supervision the call should drop.

so by having my T1 trunk set to ORG, if my attorney called a client and the client hung up but the atty did not (he put the handset in the cradle incorrectly, whatever), then that call stays active the entire time until someone else goes to that same phone and makes a call?

what collects your cdr records MAT,OTM or a buffer box ? ETH should disconnect the call. I hade an issuee with OTM with long hours.
