Hi All,

We busy configuring a NEC 9500 to work with the UG-50.
We get power on the analogue phones, but no dial tone.
The extensions for the analogue phones have been configured in the nec 9500 and also the ASYDL has been configured to be on index 680, b1 =1
Also in the UG-50 the SIP mode is select and everything else that is needed including DRS to point to the pbx
The UG-50 has 2 analog cards, one sr node, 1 digital card, GCD-CP00-GW,GCD-4COTA trunk card.

Does any body have any idea what is missing or have the steps which will allow it to work?

Thank you in advance

When using SIP mode in the UG50 (if you are dual CPU) you need to put the actual CPU IP addresses in the UG50 config not the ACT address. Also you have to enter the ONE TIME PASS in 1-4-01 SIP common setup setting you set in ASECL command. In AISTL you need to use 8MC(SIP) in the kind field and check the UG50 box when setting up the analog extension.

Thank you 3racefan3, we got it to work.
