Dear Sir,
can anyone guide me how to do the QSIG configuration in NEC SV9100 PBX, we have NEC and Nortel system with fiber connectivity.
i have did the configuration as PRI line but its not working, i am first time doing this configuration

QSIG was not supported after UX5000..which did work btw. You would be better served setting the PRI channels as TIE line and go into numbering plan and get your froute tables setup.

please let me know which connectivity will work in Nortel Old system, below mentioned connectivity are available in the NEC system. In the Nortel side They have did Tie line connection.

1.T-point
2.S-point
3.NW Mode (Leased Line)
4.NW Mode (Interconnected Line)
5.NW Mode (Interconnected Line - Fixed Layer 1 = NT)
6.S-point (Leased Line)

First you will need a T1 crossover cable OR set the NEC for Cross..auto is never reliable. T point is fine

National ISDN (One system MUST be master the other slave)

Enbloc ALWAYS on ISDN

Create Trunk Group

Set Froute in System Numbering

22-02 set channels to tie line

44-02 Define Extension and froute table

44-05 Define Trk Group Max dial digits

20-14 is other stuff.

Dear sir..
Now we can make call both side but NEC to nortel call arrival time is little delay. 15 sec takin to ring
Any ideas??

In your FROUTE you need to set your number of digits. 15 sec it's timing out and sending. Easiest way to pinpoint where the problem is..open your SMDR and see what call flow is like. Perhaps the NEC is sending the digits and the Nortel is delaying. The # key should have sent it like immediately though. Also enbloc needs to be set on BOTH sides.

i will check tomorrow and i am getting only 8 channels now, how to increase the channels.

dear Sir,
when i press # its ringing imitatively, is there any option without dial #

See my posts. You don;t have your froute setup correctly. You might be better served getting (paying) a tech that knows the system at this point.
