I am working on the SV9100 at a hotel. I have found a couple of analog ports on the phone system that are bad. One is just dead when I plug my butt set directly into the ksu. The other one has this really wierd sound. It is a sound I hear only when I am on monitor, but it works fine when I am on TALK. I can actually hear what sounds like a repetitive couple of unintelligible sounds like 2 or 3 words. Sounds kinda spooky, But I have no idea what the hell it is. Again, it is this way when I plug directly into the ksu with my butt set.
I did reset that particular module (sp?), but I did not actually re-seat that particular card. Do you think that could help?
Extensions 121 and 131.
131 is port 35 and I forgot to write down the port number for 121, which is the one with the wierd noise.
They are both on the same card, it seems.
Telco installed this system, it is out of warranty, and I doubt they will come back and fix anything. It's up to me.
Help.

I would reset the card. If possible swap it with another one to see if the problem moves with the card. Since they are both on the same card, it could be a bad card/daughter board.
