Hi All,

I have an SV9100 using the AUX 2 port for external music on hold. The jacket for AUX 2 is broken on the CP10 card. Is it possible to use AUX 1? If so, is there a specific program? I've been making changes to 10-21 - GCD-CP10 Hardware Setup, but no matter the combination of 04 - External Audio Source Selection and 05 - General Purpose Relay switch, I'm unable to get external music working on AUX 1. I know that I can purchase a PGD adapter, which I'll probably end up doing, but figured I'd check to see if AUX 1 could work with an external music source for MoH before I do.

Thanks!

10-21 should be all you need. It's possible both ports are bad. Some MB's require a log out log back in to take effect. Others may require a reboot after making the changes. You could try that first. A PGD may be your solution.

Check 14-08-01 and make sure it is set to "0"

We have a customer that wanted BGM AND MOH. I looked at programming and this is how we got it to work with some help from NEC.

10-04-01 set to "External"
10-04-04 set to "Follow PRG 10-04-01"
10-38-01 CPU IN
10-21-04 to use AUX 2 as BGM
14-08-01 to use BGM for each trunk.

I seem to recall even after logging out of programming this took a couple minutes to work. The good thing is that the phones can be used to status the BGM port

I THINK this will work in your case. Our site uses AUX 1 for BGM.
