NEC SV8500 phone continuous ringing

Hello Everyone,
i am using SV8500. if i am calling to any extension and the other party is not available or not responding then phone call /phone ring should be disconnect after 45 second. but in our system phone is continuous ringing unless caller person hangup the phone. Need your assistance.

You have described normal operation assuming that the called party is not set to forward no answer to voice mail.
 
Thanks Belevedere for your response. Our NEC 8500 system is without voice mail server. When i call to another extension phone is continious ringing nonstop in only one time dial. i want to set ringing time limit for all our telephone extension 45 seconds. how can i set ringing time/ ring count in our system without voice mail.
 
You have described normal operation. When you call an extension that is not forwarded anywhere, it will continue to ring until answered or abandoned.
Possibly a voice button will help. With a voice button, you can call an extension then press voice to begin speaking. The receiving party can respond handsfree if their mic button is on.
 
You can do this:
Set Call Forward No Answer to a forward calls to a bogus number that doesn't exist in the system. So when the no answer timer expires, this feature kicks in, attempts to forward the call to the non-existent number, and will stop ringing on the phone, and the caller will hear fast busy.
