Hello,

We are using NEC SV8100, we have configured the SIP trunks and its working fine, now i have a requirement to use the Softphones from out side of our network.

- IP Address 192.168.0.10
02 - Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0
03 - Default Gateway 193.168.0.1
05 - NIC Setting Automatic detection
06 - NAPT Router
07 - NAPT Router IP Address X.X.X.X (SIP trunk provider ip address)
08 - ICMP Redirect
09 - IPL IP Address 193.168.0.20
10 - IPL Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0
11 - IPL NIC Setting Automatic detection
13 - DNS Primary Address 4.2.2.2
14 - DNS Secondary Address 8.8.8.8
15 - DNS Port 53

I have kept A.B.C.D IP address port forwarding to 193.168.0.20 IP address and trying to configure softphone with A.B.C.D IP address and port number, its not getting register

Please help.

Are you trying to use the univerge ST450 or ST500 mobile app? or a third party app?

On your port forwarding, you will obviously need 5060-5080 port forwarded for registration (5060 for your SIP Trunks, 5080 for the Univerge App/Third Party App), and also 10020-10531 for DSP Channels to your 84-26 IP Address.

If you are using third party, sometimes they have a domain, and a server field. One of them requires the port on it, the other doesnt.

Just a few things to test. But by default, an 8100 uses either 5070 or 5080 as a registration port.
