this a continuation of this old thread: https://www.tek-tips.com/threads/nec-sv8100-config-help.1829915/

I am still trying to get voicemail working. I try to enable InMail by clicking this check-box:

After applying it shows in the config:

After I upload, the InMail disappears. Whether restarted or not, when I next download the DB, InMail is gone:

What is happening here?

Not having luck trying to configure by individual program either. For example, if I go to 47-1-17 on PCPro and set the port range for 57-72 (as reflected in the blade config above) it doesn't stick; and I can't put anything in WebPro, it just resets to 0 when I click apply.

On the 8100 there is a few things to do. First, use Web Pro. Second post what features you have activated from Web Pro.

If you don't have the max port or 256 port license, I believe the in-mail ports have to be below port 48. You can verify number of in-mail licenses with license 1002.

FWIW; here's the manual pages I keep trying to walk through...

I tried Edge in Explorer mode, and actual IE in an XP virtual machine with the same results. I just get "There were errors when trying to apply the changes" in the upper right.

Could it be something else? Is there a log somewhere with more detail about whatever errors are occurring?

What number are you putting in there? It can't conflict with an existing port. Also, if when you alter this number you absolutely have to log out and reset the system. Looks to only be 2 ports so you can use 63 and 64.

I rebooted the system and tried again. I have tried 57, and 63 and 64 now; all the same results ("There were errors when trying to apply the changes").
