Hello,
I have a NEC SV8100 and DT700 handsets to which the handsets keep logging out.
Checked POE on the switches green mode of (Cisco) and power utilisation is hardly used.
Phones have static IPs set so not DHCP.
VLAN setup on switches and on the handset itself separate from the data.
PCs run through the phones, PCs don't drop network so not POE or cabling fault!
Any ideas I have upgraded the firmware on the switches, changed cabling, enabled spanning tree, enabled storm control etc.
I have the same setup at another site with same SV, Handsets and switches and they don't log out! I have read up about subscriber time out settings and send this off to NEC but they said it wont fix it but set it anyway they say and still an issue.
If I get the PBX rebooted the drops don't seem to happen for a few days then it starts again and happens several times a day!
Any pointers or fixes would be welcomed.
