NEC SV8100 Communications Analyst re-install failure

Our company had the Communications Analyst software installed on a physical machine and we migrated it to a virtual machine. After a reboot of the virtual machine communications Analyst stopped working and would return an error of "Application is unable to connect to the license server or valid licenses are not available". I talked to a tech and he stated it was because we didn't release the license from the physical machine's MAC address. He tried releasing the license on the handset, but it didn't actually release it. Any ideas? Main software 6.02 Web Pro 6.0

Did you ever get a solution to this? We moved our virtualized machine that had communications analyst to a different host and have the same problem since it was not set for a static MAC address.
