I have an NEC Univerge SV1800 sytem at work. I have purchased a Valcom VIP-801A. Im having trouble with it connecting to the SV1800 correctly. I have a couple questions:

1. Do I need to purchase a LK-SYS-IP-TERMINAL-SIP1-LIC for the Valcom to successfully register?

2. Does the Valcom VIP-801A use SIP port 5070, 5060 or 5080?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

Check "SV8100 Voice over IP manual", "Extensions/Standard SIP Extensions" chapter. It's quite good and informative.
1. You do need at least one license you mentioned for one 3rd party SIP device to work.
2. For registration it's 5070.

3rd party SIP uses 5070 at default.
Yes, you need a 3rd party SIP license.
