I need for inbound calls to be directed to a personal mailbox (Ext 101) after ringing all phones WITHOUT using the CallPickUp feature as a solution. I have set the trunk for DIL (which directs the call to the vmailbox but doesnt ring all phones). I set the trunks for NORMAL (Which rings all the phones but gets tripped up by the auto attendant). As a band aid, I have the trunks set to NORMAL. After 3 rings, an onboard message is played "If you know your parties extension, you can dial it now. Or press 0 for...". It is then directed to Ext 101 vmailbox, but I had to enable Auto Attendant Directly to Vmail -or else- the call would ring back on Ext 101 with "Transfer from InMail" for 2 or 3 rings. Has to be a better solution! i am seeing more and more customers using Auto Attendant as a fallback option when the receptionist doesnt answer rather than leading off with the Auto Attendant.
