IS-IT--Management
Hello,
I manage a small school district and we just recently switched to the SV9100 phone systems. We have one remote site with only 2 phones. The PBX is located with IP/subnet 192.168.111.2/24 and the phones in the remote site are 192.168.113.4 and 192.168.113.5. I remoted into each phone and programmed the SIP server in: Menu, 0, SIP Settings, Server Address & URI, 1st Server Address. I did not change any other settings. The port is currently set at 5080.
I have tested with Ping, Tracert and even can access the PBX's webpro from the remote site so I believe the routing is right, and the previous VOIP phones worked remotely and connected to the main site's PBX.
I must be missing something in the phones programming to get this working unless I need to add the remote site's subnet to the PBX. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Frank
