NEC/Nitsuko 24i/38i Automatic Handsfree

We faced probably simple but catchy Nitsuko DX2NA-32 system error with ext # 301 external call retrieval. Previously as originally programmed the extension in subject ringed all of 8 analog incomming CO lines and answering them was simple with applied Automatic Handsfree just by picking up the handset. For some reason now extension 301 rings as it did before but to answer, the receptionist must pickup the handset, press ringing line and then press Speaker button.
First - It is interesting why this partical feature changed and what could possible caused that change, second what feature do you think has been corrupted. Can battery in NVRAM cause this type of errors?

Can you please help us to deal with this issue by reprogramming this particalar issue. In our opinion it is related to COS Program 0406 Item 72 and item 125, but we don't know how to restore it back to original programmers intended Handsfree operation.

It might be that the headset mode is on(834) , or post all the setting for 0406. That could be a nasty one
