NEC neophyte needs guidance

I'm new to a NEC NEAX2000 (2 of them in fact), and would like any advice as to finding basic information re programming, troubleshooting, etc. - a "NEAX2000 for Dummies" (or equivalent), if you will.

I can work from either the command line or MATWorX; whatever gets the job done.

My background is with Lucent/Avaya Definity PBX and Intuity Audix systems... I'm finding NEC is a different beast entirely, and I've very little documentation at hand. I've managed to get by for a while by carefully poking around, but would much rather have some resources at hand to help understand how best to keep this working smoothly.

I got a CD with the system that had a Feature Programming Manuel on it I have found it helpful.

There really isn't a step by step manual. I have had the same issue. Slowly but surely I have picked up some of the ways to do things through matworx. I did sign-up for a three day online course Matworx 101 through neccare.com. It takes place in three weeks. The cost was $150.00.

This forum is the absolute best resource ever.
