NEC NEAX 2400 SDS

Hey guys and girls,

Wondering if there are any NEAX 2400 SDS grurus on this site. Another technician suggested that this site might be a possible source for assistance.

I"m a telephone collector (ex tech) who has collected around 1000 telephones and PABXs.

Currently I am restoring an NEC NEAX 2400 SDS from 1988!

Although it was working a few years ago with a few handsets on it, I left it unplugged for a long period of time and it has lost its memory. Using the MOC, I tried to reset the memory (code 00) but it must have too bigger issues to do it that way.

To save me doing a complete hard reset I wanted to see if anyone had a backup of a NEAX 2400 SDS they might be able to drop-box or get to me somehow.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I remember this system fondly and would like to get it up and running.

You will probably guess who this is, I'm still looking but hopefully someone here can assist. It would also be good if anybody had a scanned copy of the manuals as I'm sure other museums are going to need these in future!
