In a nutshell I need to get an NEC NEAX 2000 to route calls to a Dialogic/Brooktrout DID/DTMF information for fax routing purposes. This is actually for a customer of mine and I have no programming knowledge with this PBX.
The key components are the NEC T1 card and the Dialogic/Brooktrout T1 hardware, which routes the faxes to a Windows Fax Server.
Does anyone have any suggestions for this? I have been referred to a couple of online references such as the link below, but they weren't definitive:
However, when the site tries to do what the above link mentions, it brings their voicemail component down. The only way they say they can get it to work results in an auto-attendant voice saying, "transferring call", which will obviously cause many issues with inbound faxes.
Any thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated.
Thanks,
SEgli
