I have an extension (247)that when dialed rings on 247 and the 210 extension. Can anyone point me in the right direction to cancel this? I'm a phone system novice.
Sounds like there is a multi line appearance on extension 210. Use command 9000 to remove it or command 9001 to just turn off the ring. If you need more details, post back.
Yes...need more details...my programming skills are very little. I know how to get to the command prompt on the phone and that's about it. Also I have Matworx at a management station with the same skill level.
Ok the question still remains, do you want to remove it from the phone or simply stop it ringing? (you can have it so that it simply flashes when there is a call on 247)
Either way :- in command 9000 de 210,01 de should display what is on the top left multiline key of the phone (note the comma in that command as it is needed). You can then use the enter key to step on to key 02 and so on. Step on till you find the key that has 247 programmed against it. Now if you want to remove it simply enter CCC exe and that will be that! If you want to just stop the ringing but leave it flashing take a note of the key number you found 247 on and go to command 9001 de 210,(Key number you just got) de you will see a 1 enter 0 exe and thats all that is needed.
Just a note in case you don't know de = the space bar and exe = a full stop
