Our NEC model DTP 16D has all incoming calls forwarding to a virtual tollfree number, which in turn diverts to a landline.

Our technical support say that this is impossible, but it is happening!

How do I unprogram the call forwarding?

Your help will be soooooooo appreciated.

Do you have a call forward all key programmed on the phone? if so pick up the handset press the CFA key then dial # then hang up. If you don't have a CFA key then you need to find the call forward all cancel code. This can change from system to system and I believe the one I am used to here in OZ is not the standard one used in America so I will let anyone of the knowledgeable people here take over on that point!

If it is an NEC IVS/IVS2/IPS, we typically use #5 to cancel call forward all. If you have CFA on a button, go off hook and press that button followed by * to cancel.

OOH!

I've always used the # key! I'll try that in the lab next chance I get!

Did you know that you can actually go conf, trf, *, conf, trf, # to get into CAT mode?

I was told once that there are actually 15 different key combinations to get into the CAT mode.
