What is needed and what are the steps/procedures for a complete data backup of an IVS 2000?

Thanks in advance
Ron

On the older IVS system with a CP-00 or CP-03 CPU you need the old DOS MAT program to perform a database backup. If you have an updated CPU, CP-14 (IVS2) or CP-24 (IPS) then you need the MATWorks program.

Thanks, where could I get the older DOS MAT program?

Ron

It's 5 floppy disks. I have a copy, but I do not know how to get it to you.
fyi... It's loaded in DOS not windows. If you have an old WIN PC then you would reboot in DOS mode, then load it.

For CP-00-C Matworx32 which runs under Windows 98 also provided backup capability. It was available on CD and there were different releases of it, but I think all would work for backup if the CPU is compatible. Matworx32 would load under Windows XP, but the setup utility couldn't identify a modem or serial port so it wasn't useful with XP.
