I am having problems with the voice mail boxes. When a caller is sent to the voicemail box they get only 10 seconds to leave a message before it ask if they want to add to it. What should I be looking for? I have checked the setup via cosession and it appears to be set for max 1000 seconds. Can anyone assist?

greatly appreciated.
 
I'm not to sure but in the meantime maybe the Vmail needs a reboot or the storage capacity is starting to max out?

What VMS do you have. Let me Know the software version and the Q revision and I look for any news on NTAC. Also make sure it is a VMS and not a FMS. Don't mean to insult your intelligence by the last question.
 
Try a message from another station then thru outside lines in A.A.
Is there a difference?

I ve had the problem with poor quality lines comming thru the A.A.
Sometimes the poor quality is mistaken for a pause in speech.

Try changing the paramater on
-Easy Made Applications
-Page 6 of 6
-Line 54
Record Pauses

Beginning to (15)
Short Ending to (15)
Long Ending to (15)

This controls how long "in seconds" the system waits for callers pausing.
