NEC Elite 192 MAX Distance for Extension?

1) Does anyone know what the maximum working distance for a standard (non-analog) phone on an elite 192?

2) Can this distance be extended at all with thicker guage wire?

3) Are there any other "extender" products available if I need to go futher thenthe max?

You can ask the exchange provider for a long line extension which you will them need a booster for each end which should give you up to 5 miles or 7.8km

Thanks but my question is more about an internal extension. I have an Elite 192 in a mall, I run the cables myself. I can run what ever is necesary to ge tit to work but I wanted to know how I could go about 1500 ft? or what the max distance was for an extension wired directly to the switch. Also I have seen that there may be a power supply I could add to the phone to maybe extend the distance?

Any info would be appreciated.
