Yes some still exist, I acquired this account already up and running 12 years ago and I h ave to still deal with, Its configured 12 x 32 x 8 analog stations. Has 7 analog service lines and an amanda 4 port pc based v mail.
a day or so ago the city was screwing with the power to the building and the system has had SOME memory loss. I had to reprogram the trunk group 1 for 7 lines so the pool button would work again. You used to dial 300 to get to the amanda now you get a fast busy and read through the manual and cant find how to put analog stations 124 - 127 in a hunt group or assign the pilot number 300 to that hunt group. It also has lost the night mode button that was on station 100. Other than that everything else seems okay.

How does one program those 4 analog stations in a hunt group and assign 300 as the pilot number of that group. And How do you program a key on the attendant phone for a night mode bttn?

Thanks.

I will assume that you know how to get into programming mode.
VM:
MB 4-35, set each SLT/VM port to yes
MB 4-10, set SLT/VM ports to extension numbers 300, 301, 302, 303.
MB 4-14, set 1st SLT/VM port 300 to yes
MB 4-15, set first SLT/VM port to 301.
2nd port (ext 301's port number) to ext 302.
3rd port (ext 302's port number) to ext 303.

Test.
There is not button for night mode. You have to use a FEATURE ACCESS key, then program the code for night mode under it.
Press the Feature key.
Press the Redial key.
Press the One Touch key to be programmed.
Dial 1 and the station number to be stored.
OR
Dial the feature access code to be stored as indicated in the Quick Entry Guide.
Press the Feature key again.
Try this;
I think the # is for the FEATURE key on input.
FEATURE + REDIAL + button + # + 80 + # + FEATURE

Thank you belvedere,
I have not been on prem for this account in 5 years, I didnt know squat about this NEC when I took it on 15 years ago. I got a handle on it and took detailed note and kept them in the manual. Ive never worked on another one.
Literally 2 weeks ago my 32 year collection of obsolete manuals was moved 100 miles from where Im at right now and this NEC sys was one of them. I never had to screw with the Vmail hunt group.
Im remembering that NITE MODE button and the 80 being in the imput stream.

Ill tell you Sir I really need to fix this today as they have been down 4 days now with no v mail, THANK YOU

FYI...the battery on the CPU is probably not up to spec. That is the most likely reason why you lost some programming during the power event. I believe they were 3.5v. And you can probably replace it hot if you are careful. You may lose some or all programming if you do a complete power off.
