2 questions:

1> Ive done a search to see what i need to do to setup a headset button but i dont understand what is meant by Memory Block 4-12, Can someone explain?

2> Currently the only access i have to change settings on the phone system is through the master phone in programming mode. Is there any way i can obtain software to connect to the PBX to configure it from my PC?

goto this site:
download the manual called Electra Elite IPK Programming Manual - Document R 4

then in that doc, goto page 594 (4-12, 2-517)
that gives you instructions on how to change one of the linekeys to a headset button.
you basically have to get into programming mode, press linekey4, then press 1 then press 2
select the linekey button that gives you "H SET", then press the number linekey you want it programmed to(ie. 05, so linekey 5 would always enable/disable headset)

Thanks Philly,

I got it on there but in the process i over wrote the key that goes to Voicemail. I tried putting in F A 01 like all the other phones had for that key but it just comes up as Error when i press it. Any idea how to get the voicemail key back?

Make the key a FA01. Go to the phone and while on hook press Feature, LNR/SPD, the button you want to program, dial the digit 1, then dial the voice mail extension number, then Feature again to write the data. That should get it done!!

Ok ive totally screwed up this phone, She cant call any number outside and no calls from outside can call her.

After looking through the manual philly posted it seems i have also over wrote the Call Appearance Keys on the phone. Looking at each phone these seem to be unique on each phone. Is there anyway i can set them back to what they were before or find out what to set them too? Is this even the cause of her calling issue?

Also MercuryCom, What is LNR/SPD?

Edit to above*

I meant I over wrote the Call Appearance Block Keys

C00~C47(Call Appearance Block)
01~24(Call Appearance Key)

Nevermind i found how to get the Call Appearance Block! Went to Feature Code 43 and it gave me the block that station ID was assigned too.

Still need to know what LNR/SPD means though.

Thanks!

Sorry you must have newer phone sets. Replace the LNR/SPD in the instructions with the REDIAL key.
