I need to know how to program a phone to show the name of the person I am calling internally? New to NEC and have a new employee starting. I can't access the system through the SAT does anyone know how to reset the password? Thanks

Using a Dterm connected to one of the first 2 ports, go into program mode ( feature-hold #0* ) Press line key 4 and dial 18. Put in the name for each port starting with port 1. Press transfer to enter. This takes you to program 19 for port 1. Using the * and # you can move the curser right or left. Put the program back on 18 and press CNF button to go to port 2. Enter that name and hit TRF. Repeat the steps until done then lift handset and hangup.

You can enter programming from any phone using feat#0*8974.

As for SAT, I've had that problem in the past. You need to run regedit. START>RUN>regedit. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\NEC\EliteIPK. Your's might not be elite IPK, but you get the idea. Under (default)you will see numbers, i.e. 72779673. They correspond to the dialpad; this one is password. Delete that key by right-clicking on the numbers. Restart SAT and the password will be defaulted to PASSWORD.
