Customer moved into new suite back in April 2018.
There was an NEC DX7NA / DS2000 already on the wall.
I ordered two more 22 BTN phones to supplement the two they already had.
Now customer calls 6.5 months later to complain they do not get caller ID on their phones.
They pay for the service through their carrier.
Does this phone system have the capability?
Does it need special card?
Special programming.
Call log button? etc. etc. ??

Any thoughts, idea or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much in advance for your time and effort spent on my behalf

Hardware Considerations
Caller ID requires the installation of at least one ID/4CO Caller ID Module (P/N 88512). The Caller ID Module
is a standard 4 CO Module with four trunk circuits and added Caller ID capability. Each module provides Caller
ID service for the trunks connected to it. For example, the inside Caller ID Module in the Main CEU provides
Caller ID capability for trunks 1-4. The system can have up to six Caller ID Modules, providing Caller ID capability
to all 24 trunks.
Default Configuration
Caller ID enabled automatically after the installation of Caller ID Modules.
Caller ID pre-answer display disabled (Automatic Handsfree Enabled).
Programming
➣ "QE- Automatic Handsfree"
The system can have the Caller ID pre-answer display only if you disable (N) Automatic Handsfree.

Straight out of the Features + Programming manual.
has the manuals.
