NEC Dterm Series E phone reset help

Is it possible to reset/restart/flash a phone that is not behaving properly without restarting the entire phone system?

Reset the card that the phone resides on. You will only affect the phones on that card, or depending on the system you can go into the commands and make it busy and then idle it. Resetting the card is the best option though.

On the IVS, IVS2 & IPS you can do a forced release of the station which does seem to reset some factors.
