NEC DT700 and CDP / LLDP

Hello,

Has anyone used the CDP or LLDP feature of the DT700 SIP phones from NEC.

I want a plug and play phone!

NEC does not support CDP. This feature is only for PoE info on the data switch.

Still would like to know the LLDP possibilities and i am sure the DT730 has an CDP option in the menu.

Any commens ?

You are correct there is a CDP option in the menu. It is used to send the accurate amount of power the phone is using on the PoE switch.
