Hello, i recently switched a DT300 dtl-12d phone (Reception 2) with another phone, DT300 dtl-24d (Reception 3) in the same department. Not sure if this is the cause, but now the Reception 2 phone requires the user to p/u handset and push the line button to answer the phone whereas before just picking up the handset automatically connected the receptionist to the ringing line. I hope this makes sense. We have the NEC SV8100 system and I'm wondering if after switching phones from different stations, i need to do go on WebPro and tweak the system data. Thank you!

Also, both phones have bluetooth headsets connected and the Plantronics HL10 handset lifter. (not sure if this matters much since I tried both ways, but thought it may be useful info.

That is an individual and/or station/class of service feature. Compare the settings in 15-01/02 and 20 COS. Also verify the lines are ringing. This is ringing line preference and the station must ring for it to work. Check 22-04 and verify both stations are in the ring group.

Thanks. I verified the lines are ringing and both stations are ringing. settings in 15-02 are the same for both phones. however, 15-01 load line restriction is on one but not the other. Checked 22-04 and both phones are in the same ring group. Checked 20 COS and Reception2 was on COS 1 for all modes whereas Reception3 was on COS 15 for all modes. and the only differences was in 20-07 : Class of Service Options (Administrator Level). I understand that switching phones from different stations doesn't automatically change the name or the settings. So, I went ahead and switched the COS values but the issue remains.

Hi. Yes, it rings for internal ICM calls and even picks the line automatically when handset is picked up.

ok. not sure what it was. but, i was able to get it working again by just copying the settings from Reception3 to Reception2. Thanks belevedere for the assistance!
