I have a customer that has an NEC DS 1000/2000 (the best I can tell from descriptions & pictures from the customer) & they are having issues with a couple of features. The customer was referred to me & is about 2 hours away from me. They do not have a repair company near them as they are in a small town in the country. I would like to help them. I know the NEC Elite 48/192 & Elite IPK systems well but I never had any experience on the DS or DSX systems. Could someone please help me with these items?
Problem #1) Caller ID does not work
#2) Speed dial does not work
*Note: The customer has said that these items were working until a lengthy power outage (about 8-10 hours).
