NEC Aspire No CALLS

Customer States that the are unable to dial ext to ext, and ext to outside..... the phones are on but dont work at all... incoming calls ring and ring to nowhere.... the co says their dial tone is okay...
being that ext to ext is affected i would assume its defiantly the NEC that has an issue.... any help before i go onsite to diagnose this issue would be appreciated...going tomorrow... what should i look for?

First, see if you can connect with PCPro and get a dbase back up.
Check the voltages on the PSU.
Try a reboot.
Power down, reseat the CPU, power up.
Hardware? CPU? PSU?

I will try that today when onsite..
Not sure of the details of the hardware until I arrive on site...thanks for the reply..

it looks like the cpu is brain dead. depopulated the system. and hooked a phone directly to the cpu board.. the phone is dead.... either a new cpu or a phone system......

You could try to default it. Power down, hold the load button down, power up wait~10 sec. then release the load button.
