NEC ACD plus networking problem

I installed an NEC ACD plus card (VMP U-40) in an IPK. Programmed everything in the KSU. I got a green light on APP1. I can connect to the card on hyperterminal to change IP config. I cannot connect to the card through the RJ45 terminal to program Admin functions. The server program will not connect and neither will the monitor program. (The U-40 does not support serial connection.) What am I doing wrong?

You might have already done this but, after you set up the IP address in Hyperterminal, did you
12. Set dipswitch #2 to the OFF position.
13. Reboot the unit.???
