Hello
Im working with IT guy who wants the NEC 9100 phone system to FLY.
He want s to know if.
I can setup to have 2 interfaces on the phone system 1 for production network and 1 for VOIP network?
He wants to know if I can Configure the Voip phones to work on 2 SIP servers. XX.XXX.XXX.81 and XX.XXX.XXX.10
Thanks

No. I mean you can configure the other ethernet port NOT on the IPLE for other things (not suggested) but no reason it couldn't be for like SMDR or telnet or web access or UC suite. But for VOIP phones nope. Only way to have that happen is to make a Netlink environment and have a second system so he can have a second VOIP IP.

Sounds to me like the IT person has the wrong concept of the system architecture. The system is the VoIP server and has an individual unique IP address. However if he is suggesting two different SIP servers providing the lines then yes!
